Born in 1961, Raoul Spanger grew up in Bremen (Germany) and Hamburg (Germany).

After graduating from high school and an extensive retail education he held various managing positions in the German fashion retail business.

Raoul Spanger joined Gebr. Heinemann in 1989 and was appointed to be a Member of the Executive Board and Director Retail and HR in 1997.

Sarah Quinlan is the Senior Vice President and Group Head of Market Insights for Mastercard. Providing macro-to-micro economic trends related to consumer spending and retail sales, Sarah advises executives across industries, including retail, banking, capital markets and government agencies. She and her team analyze and predict spending patterns, based on the billions of anonymous purchases Mastercard processes every year, to create solutions that help clients make better business decisions.

Sarah is widely recognized as an expert in her field and appears regularly in the media including CNBC, the Associated Press, Fox Business Network, Bloomberg TV, the Times of London, The Daily Telegraph, and Women's Wear Daily (WWD). She is also a frequent speaker at prominent industry conferences such as the Financo CEO Forum, Milken Institute Global Conference, WWD CEO Summit and 100 Women in Hedge Funds.

Prior to joining MasterCard in 2013, Sarah spent 28 years in the capital markets as an investment banker, portfolio manager and hedge fund manager.

Sarah received her BA and MBA from the University of Chicago in Politics, Economics, Rhetoric and Law with Special Honors and in Finance and Accounting, respectively. 

Michael Mauerhoff

Michael Mauerhoff is the Head of Marketing Sales at Global Blue for the area Central Europe, consisting of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Czech Republic since 2011 now. As a digital first thinking manager he is always looking for innovative solutions which combine the strengths of haptic and data driven solution to fulfill the target audience needs.

Starting as a publishing house manager at the Rheinische Post Newspaper in 2004 he switched immediately to the digital business as an online sales manager and moved forward to achieve his first victories in sales and product development. Within the second New Market / Social Media Boom starting from 2008 he founded a social media startup for cubs called and the marketing agency Agentur Beziehungsweise to ensure a 360° communication approach. His main duty for both companies was always the design of new products/solutions, selling them to brands and bringing them to market.  These solution came across digital, sampling, promotion and print.

In early 2011 he sold his shares due to the onboarding at Global Blue and managed a successful handover and exit. The opportunity to work on a data driven company which success is based on the in depth knowledge of the international shopping tourism, was the logical consequence to reach the next level.

With Global Blue Michael Mauerhoff and his teams managed to build/sell/execute products across several countries to increase revenue and instore footfall for European Brands. The latest development in 2016 is related to programmatic mobile marketing based on Tax Free Shopping data to target these valuable high spenders.

Paul Winsor

Paul joined Qlik in 2014 as the Director of Industry Solutions for the Retail and Services industries for the EMEA region. In his role, Paul engages in consultative sales support with customers and prospects across enterprise, mid-market and other strategic areas. Paul also contributes to the retail industry segment’s go-to-market strategy and business plan, defining key solutions, positioning Qlik products and creating and developing a suite of segment specific sales enablement materials. He is also responsible for raising brand recognition through sector specific analyst and media relations. 

Paul brings to his role over 30 years of experience in the Retail and Business Intelligence sector.  This includes 19 years in various data-driven roles at Sainsburys, the UK’s second largest retailer and 11 years in the Business Intelligence sector, helping leading businesses around the world deliver value out of their existing data and discover new big data insights. More recently Paul has helped leading retailers gain ROI from their investment in transformation projects through the use of data discovery strategies. 

Stewart Dryburgh

Stewart Dryburgh is the General Manager of Nestlé International Travel Retail (NITR).
After graduating in Civil Engineering Dryburgh started a commercial career before completing a post-grad diploma in business in 1998. In the same year Dryburgh joined Nestlé UK undertaking senior roles in Sales and Marketing.

Dryburgh first lead the Nestlé International Travel Retail team from 2002 to 2005. During this period, he was influential in growing the size of the confectionery category in the channel and was a prominent supporter of the first Trinity Forum in 2003. In 2006, Dryburgh became General Manager for Confectionery in Nestlé India, then in 2009 returned to Switzerland as global marketing leader for Nestlé's no 1 confectionery brand KitKat©. In this role he accelerated the growth of this billionaire brand, establishing it as a world leader in digital communication.

Dryburgh returned to Nestlé International Travel Retail and is relishing the challenge of continuing to grow Nestlé's business in this dynamic channel.

Benjamin Ritschel

Benjamin Ritschel started his career with a consultancy in the energy sector. In his role as consultant he experienced various international re-organization & restructuring projects. He collected first loyalty experiences whilst in implementing customer satisfaction metrics in different European markets for an international energy provider. After 5 years of consulting business in 2012 he took over new responsibilities at the strategy and business development department of Miles & More. Today he is heading the Miles & More department Airline Shopping, which includes inflight shopping and the development of new retail services along the whole travel chain.
